Are you right for the role?
You should have an interest in interior design and kitchens.
Be someone who is great at listening and willing to learn.
If you have little or no practical experience within kitchen design, they will start you on the admin side and progress on to the design side.
If you have 1-5 years of practical kitchen design experience then this will also be considered.
You should be an intelligent, switched on person. This is most important, more so than specific kitchen experience.
Is the role right for you?
Working from the London showroom as part of a small team, selling a range of desirable European kitchens.
Not a pushy sales role, as such the manager will not be . on the sales target, is easy going, relaxed. Wants someone they can invest in and help build their career with them and stay long term.
Working 5 days over 7, including Saturdays.
You should live within a 45minute commute to the showroom.
How about the package?
Basic salary of £18-19,000 but may consider paying a little more for the right Design Support candidate.
Plus commission of £4,500-£5,000 when in the Support role.
Then when elevate to Designer £10-15,000 commission uncapped.
