OPERATIONS MANAGER - WAREHOUSE & TRANSPORT
EAST LONDON

THE COMPANY:
Well established building products company
Well known and respected in the industry

AREA:
Based out of the East London Branch - travelling within 45mins of the branch

THE JOB:
Looking after the running of the Transport side of the business and running of the Warehouse
Applying for the FORS accreditation for the company
Mostly based out of the East London branch, but might need to travel on occasion to other branches
Manage the Warehouse
Do Health & Safety inspections
Running and managing the Fleet of vehicles - Trucks and company cars
Will need to manage and check all the vehicle (trucks) tacho's
PPE Checks every week
Opening hours to be confirmed, but most likely to be Mon to Fri - 7:30am to 5pm, and Sat 8am to 1pm, but have every other Sat off.

THE PERSON:
Most important aspect is having an operator's licence for HGVs over 3.5 Tonne
Able to apply for FORS accreditation
Understands how to manage a fleet and check the tacho's
Have an understanding of how to manage a warehouse, but this part can be taught / learnt
