Motor Finance Underwriter - North West

My client is an established UK bank that is recruiting within their growing motor finance lending division. In-keeping with my client's core values I'm looking for an experienced credit underwriter that works well as part of a team; provides exceptional customer service and displays integrity and tenacity in their work.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 9-5.

The offices are commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Rochdale, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Warrington and other surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

Assess credit applications in accordance with company policy and procedures

Assist with processing and administration of repeat and new business in accordance with mandated authority

Working closely with other team managers and key stakeholders to promote a co-operative and customer friendly environment.

Person Requirements:

Commercial finance underwriting experience

Good understanding of FCA regulations; data protection act; anti-money laundering regulations and treating customers fairly

Good judgement, ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines

Team player and enjoys working towards shared targets.

Motor finance underwriting experience dealing with intermediaries/brokers would be ideal

Salary Details:

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
