Motor Finance - Business Development Manager - Yorkshire & Humberside
Established for over 10 years and a market leader in the provision of motor finance products in the UK.
The client operates a national field sales force providing a wide range of finance products to franchised and independent dealers
This opportunity would managing a developed area covering Yorkshire and Humberside.
Responsibilities:
Developing motor finance business within the designated area
Delivering agreed new business case and margin targets
Define and implement a clear territory analysis to ensure all motor dealers are included and all details are kept current
Monitor, support and develop existing dealer relationships
Develop a clear strategic plan for the on-going acquisition of new dealer targets
Analyse Company MI with a view to strategic and tactical output articulating and documenting options and recommendations to the Sales Director
Drive tactical campaigns when required to ensure maximum output is achieved
Effectively manage any existing funded relationships and continue to seek new funding opportunities.
Provide dealers with training support when required to assist with performance, regulatory changes and product development
To ensure point of sale marketing materials are being used correctly by dealers and in a way that helps promote the sale of motor finance
Skills and Experience required:
Experience in account management/sales within motor/finance industry/ Sales background
Proven business development success at all levels
Ability to prepare and implement a territory sales strategy
Performance driven with clear selling skills
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to build long term sustainable relationships
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Strong organisation and planning skills
Strong team player
Excellent interpersonal skills
Package:
Competitive basic salary up to about £40,000 - Dependant on experience
Top performers earning over £60/70k+ - no commission cap on earnings.
