Business Support Admin / Recruitment Resourcer

Basic Salary dependent on experience, circa £16-17,000

25 days' holiday, plus Bank Holidays
Plus our 'work=time' incentive which is new and running from October; this gives you early finishes and days off work based on certain performance levels; and on top of that extra annual leave holiday days (up to a maximum of 33 days + Bank Holidays total).

Job Responsibilities

Full time, Monday to Friday role. However, we may be willing to consider someone wanting to work part time (3 days a week minimum) to cover the Business Admin Support function.

The role is a hybrid position, spending approximately 50% of your time in a Business Support Administration Function; and 50% of your time as a Resourcer.

Applicant selection - reviewing the incoming daily applications from all sources and making accurate selections on suitability and placement potential of each candidate.

Registration of selected applicants + reporting - Providing comprehensive daily reports to the consultants on all new candidates pre-registered in their sector to ensure awareness of them as potential applicants to current and future active roles.

Database maintenance - ensuring candidates are accurately pre-registered on the database and that all their relevant skills are added.

Applicant attraction - sourcing candidates.

Liaising with consultants and providing support as required.

Search online Job Boards using the Broadbean portal. The consultant should provide help on suitable search strings and supervise this search where necessary to ensure it is accurate and all-encompassing to achieve the desired search results.

Sort through the incoming advert applications and identify accurately those which are suitable. If in doubt query the applicant with the consultant. If a suitable candidate applies, make the consultant aware of the candidate to ensure they are considered in the continually active benchmarking process. Treat all applicants in line with the process for the daily incoming CVs.

Complete a full and comprehensive telephone interview with all potential candidates for any role actively being worked on.

Ensure the CV is accurately aligned with the content of the telephone interview and adapt the CV accordingly, ensuring you inform the candidate of your actions and have their approval and sending them a copy of the amended CV.

Pitch candidates for roles that are matched to jobs on the system.

The consultant should provide help in the form of providing benchmarking guidelines initially. Then on a regular basis perform checks, to ensure that the Resourcer's time is not wasted pitching unsuitable candidates. Continual feedback and communication is required throughout the process.

Send the candidate the appropriate job specification and confirmation of send; including the name of the consultant to which that candidate should direct all future contact in respect of that role.

The Person

Strong administration skills, with a high attention to detail.

Comfortable working to deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The ability to liaise clearly and concisely with colleagues.

Excellent organisational skills - must be detail-oriented.

At least one years' work experience in an office environment, ideally in a similar role.

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and any database tool/program.

Excellent spelling and grammar ability.

Not afraid to pick up the phone and call candidates to conduct a full interview, ask all the questions required.

Proven writing ability with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Able to show initiative, good judgment and resourcefulness.

Self-motivated and resilient with the ability to operate independently when necessary.
