Sales Operations Manager
Package: c.£35,000-£40,000 +Bonus +Pension
Reporting to the Managing Director
Experienced Sales Professional with a Challenger Mindset, responsible for influencing change, managing a team of internal sales specialists, developing strong relationships and achieving sales results. Must have demonstrated sales ability with a sustained record of sales achievement and experience in at least one of the company's core product areas.
Candidates will ideally live close to their Hemel Hempstead HQ and must be able to demonstrate how they have successfully challenged client thinking and influenced decisions in order to win business.
The main tasks
Manage a team of 4 Internal Sales Specialists
Able to effectively lead, manage and execute an entire sales process for opportunities
Develop strong customer relationships at all levels of client organisations as well as internal relationships to motivate the team
Be the main link between our Internal Sales Specialists and External Key Account Managers
Engage as product expert, sharing best practice and technical knowledge to help their team influence decision makers and develop business
Coach the Internal Sales Team and develop their sales skills
Develop creative solutions that meet the customer's business needs while producing revenue in line with strategic plans
Review progress of sales performance and strategies during weekly 1:1 meetings with Managing Director
Assist the team in applying consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions for complex opportunities
Track Client Projects & Maintain Strategic Information to improve performance on delivery of Installed Projects
Lead and own the planning and execution of strategy in collaboration with Managing Director
Accountable for, and measured on, sales turnover and margin targets and results within the UK business team
Close sales opportunities with clients

Shows a good understanding of at least one of the company's core product areas and has the technical ability to learn other products and keep that knowledge current

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency and passionate in use of IT supporting tools such as CRM, Outlook calendar, tablets, smart phones, webinars, collaborative video applications, virtual meeting tools, business applications
Autonomy, adaptability, commitment and team playing qualities will be highly valued
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Willing to "roll sleeves up" and "get stuck in", leading by example
