Showroom Manager - Clerkenwell

A new opportunity has arisen for a Showroom Manager to join a well-established and highly successful commercial design business. Based in Clerkenwell, the Showroom Manager will be tasked with running and maintaining the showroom space as well as assisting in sales generation as and when required.

The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm based from their Clerkenwell showroom.

The Role:
On a day to day basis you will be tasked with:
Being front of house and greeting guests;
Responding to enquiries on the telephone, and via email;
Being a main key-holder for the building - liaising with the off-site facilities team to ensure the common areas, fire alarm, lifts are maintained/serviced, and assisting with access to these;
Maintaining the equipment (office equipment, coffee facilities, kitchen equipment etc.);
Maintaining the cleanliness of the showroom and arranging general maintenance;
Diary management - booking in client visits, ensuring the relevant sales manager is aware of appointments and ensuring that there is always cover in the showroom;
Hosting client site visits;
Keeping an up-to-date stock list for the showroom;
Auditing/ordering/maintaining samples of all fabrics and finishes;
Administrational support to the sales team;
Event organisation (management of the events and liaising with Head Office to organise all catering and drinks).

The Person:
You will need to have gained previous experience within a successful showroom and have a desire to learn about furniture and fabrics.
The role would suit someone who enjoys variation in their working week and is comfortable being in a customer facing role as well as working on their own initiative.

The package:
£28k to £30k basic
