Vehicle Rental - Assistant Operations Manager - Field Based

Assistant Operations Manager - Full Time
Salary - £30,000 basic (37k OTE)
Location - Poole (travel across all South UK locations)

We are currently working with a well-established vehicle rental company with 14 branches and a fleet of over 2000 vehicles, they are considered the largest wholly independent vehicle rental company in the Southwest.

Our client are looking to recruit a positive and friendly individual with a 'can do' attitude into their Operations Management Team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role of Assistant Operations Manager is field based and covers all 14 branch locations.

Working within a small team, you will be responsible for working with Branch Managers providing support and guidance to ensure that the strategic goals and objectives are being achieved.

Responsibilities include:



* Implementation of company objectives across Branch Network
* Coaching and Mentoring Branch teams
* Ensuring that Branch Network remains operational at all times
* Ensuring that branch performance expectations are met
* Mentoring Branch Managers to allow them to reach their full potential
* Review and monitor audit activities
* Educate branch teams on best practice, company policies and customer service
* Assist in recruiting, interviewing, training and performance evaluation

This is a diverse role for an experienced multi-location Manager, who works well both on their own initiative and as part of a managerial team.
