House Builder Sales Manager
Location: some flexibility on the area as it's an expansion position and they're splitting the current area in to two. Looking for someone living close to any of the following cities Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Stafford, Stoke, Chester, Bradford, Blackpool, Blackburn, Halifax, Huddersfield.
The Role
Responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for assigned house builder accounts in the region. Actively developing new business from current and prospective house builders.
Working with a strong product portfolio, securing contracts, and create value for national and regional house builders.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales within a given territory into the new home construction market.
Develop, establish, & grow relationships with all targeted & assigned accounts by cold calling, scheduling appointments, and meeting with potential & existing builders, their purchasing agents, designer and sales teams in order to secure long term business relationships.
Establish builder profiles, key contacts, decision makers and prioritize activities to grow, defend or recapture their businesses using the company CRM. Utilize the CRM to document activity and account progress.
Secure contracts for both standard specifications and upgrades.
The Person
Product Experience - working for a manufacturer selling a design led product within the KBBT, Interiors or Construction sector.
Client Experience - ideally 3+ years' experience of selling/specifying products to the new home building industry at regional or head office level.
Personal Profile - The area is well established but the focus for the person coming on board is new business development to start; so the attitude, the individual, personality, potential of the person coming to do this role is arguably the most important factor when choosing who to employ.
Valid Driver's License.
Package
Basic salary £40,000-45,000 + OTE of £12,000-13,000 (can earn over this)
