Area Sales Manager
Are you right for the role?
You are outgoing, engaging, a positive character who enjoys building long lasting relationships with customers, and they in turn enjoy dealing with you.
You are self-motivated, the type of person who is determined to give their all to succeed at their job, exceeding customer and company expectations.
That being said, you must be a team focused player, not self-focused; you should be a well organised sales person, strong with Admin, IT and CRM use, who can meeting all SLA's and deadlines and deal with issues and problems efficiently to positive resolution.
Experience and Skills
You will have has sold one of the following products or related products - Kitchens, Bathrooms, Flooring, Interiors, Tiles, Sinks & Taps, Worktops, Stone, Construction Products or similar.
Ideally you should have some business to business field sales experience.
However, the right person without B2B field sales experience has also proven successful.
You should be able to sell a product on its design, its technical properties and its brand.
You should not be someone who sells on price.
Is the role right for you?
You will be working for an established market leader in their field. The products are very well known in the market with an excellent reputation and a superb track record of innovation and staying ahead of the curve. Their overall credentials and re-investment are second to none in their sector.
You will manage and develop a large existing customer base but always be on the lookout for new business opportunities. You will ensure that existing customers are up to speed on all product launches and developments; and that the customer and all relevant staff are well educated on the products - brand, range, design, USPs, technical aspects, properties, limitations and cross selling opportunities.
As part of a team, day to day you will be dealing with KBBT Retailers, Showrooms, Studios, plus some Developers, House Builders, Architects and manufacturers.
How about the package?
Basic salary is between £30,000-£37,000, dependent on person and experience.
A realistic OTE for year 1 is £8-10,000, but this is uncapped.
The role comes with a Company Car and the full associated package you would expect from an employed field sales role.
