Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Furniture


Are you the right fit for the role?

This role is open due to expansion.

Considering candidates from 2 different levels of experience, with no preference to one over the other:
1. One option is someone who is already a proven field sales person, who has experience of selling kitchen, bedroom or bathroom furniture into KBB retailers and Builders Merchants.
2. The other option is someone who is a Kitchen Designer or Kitchen Sales person based internally with the personality and ambition to make a wholly successful transition into a field sales role.

We need you to be a proven performer, who often ends up as the top salesperson in your team; and for you to be able to back this up.

You should be someone who knows how to think around problems, find the positives in any situation and always strives to achieve the best performance in a team.

Looking for someone who has sold on design and quality rather than price; as this is NOT the cheapest product in the marketplace.

The person who gets this role needs to have the potential to progress within the Company in a few years' time, so you need to be ambitious and have that extra spark about you that makes you stand out as exceptional.

After solution providers. A person who understands the businesses they deal with and looks at ways of selling that are to the benefit of both parties, generating loyalty from the retailers and merchants; and strong sales profits for the retailers, merchants and the Company.

Ultimately it will come down to the person, their drive, attitude, focus, ambition and exuberance.


Do you live in the right area?

The role covers the Northern Home Counties area - up to Northampton, down to Enfield.
You should live on or commutable to patch.


Does the package meet your requirements?

Basic salary is flexible for the right person. So, don't' let it put you off applying if the ballpark figure of £40-45,000 is not quite where you need it to be.

There is a bonus on top, which depends on performance. This could be up to £20,000; but more likely to be about £10,000 in year 1.

They provide an associated package including Company Car provided; pension; health insurance; life assurance. Plus of course phone, laptop, pad, etc.
