Area Sales Manager - F&I Solutions

The Person (essential criteria)

Dealer based person with motor F&I sales. Personality is the key!

This area is strong in terms of existing business, new business is always a focus too.

So, need to be willing to do prospecting and knock on doors, as well as do the account management and development.

We are looking for someone with:

Experience of working within a sales environment and working to KPI's | targets

Customer Relationship experience (dealing with people at all levels)

Experience of territory management and visit cycle planning

Experience of developing sales opportunities

Good level of IT experience (Excel / Power Point / Word etc)

Salary and Benefits

Salary c.£28,000 per annum dependent on experience (plus bonus + commission),

Year 1 OTE c.£40,000 - paid monthly regardless, so will earn in month 1, uncapped

Year 2 OTE c.£45-54,000

Holidays 25 days holiday per annum

Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:00pm (Flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines)

The Role

Open due to retirement.

The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales, marketing and development activities in both the development, and winning of new volume dealer business. This individual will be targeted on unit sales, and margins generated by the accounts under their remit, as well as contributing support towards the achievement of the overall areas objectives, in overall unit sales, margins, and overall operating profit. As such, the applicant will need to meet the following criteria:



* Have experience in account management and development within a multi-franchised dealer group.
* Demonstrate the ability to both prospect, network, identify and successfully gain support to our company product lines.

Key Responsibilities



* Maintain and further develop existing allocated volume accounts.
* Ensure efficient management controls are agreed, and followed within allocated accounts. Including an understanding of the sales process, and claims fund performance.
* Prospect and network through contacts, in order to both install new products into existing accounts, as well as win new accounts, for both volume and core products, that could then be directly managed by that individual.
* Achieve pre-agreed sales targets for both Company product unit sales as well as Company margins.
* Attend and participate, when required, in sales meetings held by the Regional Sales Manager.
* Respond to promptly, and follow up on any sales enquiry leads provided and be able to provide an update report on progress.
* Manage own time effectively within the scope of the role, in order to ensure time efficiency against the profit return to the Company.
* Provide pre-agreed activity reports, in line with expectations, to the Regional Sales Manager.
